How we rank foreign registration services

Every state page lists Mainstay Filing first, then the registered-agent brands that serve that state.

1. One price everywhere. All the services listed charge $199 plus the state fee, so the state fee decides the total.
2. The agent after year one. Mainstay Filing includes the agent free for year one and then charges $149 a year; the state brands include year one and then charge $99 a year.
3. One provider for every state. Mainstay Filing files in all 50, which matters once a company registers in a second or third state.
